The New EKA® G5 SwedBlade Black has a switchable blade to cover the need of dedicated hunters. A tried and proven design and concept, the G5 hunting knife has an ergonomically designed handle for an exceptional grip and a new formed razor-sharp edge with a drop point-flat ground blade, for a smoother skinning process. Quickly and simply switch between the Skinning Blade and the Gutting Blade when the lock button is depressed. The knife blade is made of high quality renowned Swedish Steel 12C27 and heat treated to 57 – 59 HRC which helps to achieve a durable edge and maintain sharpness. Also, it has an eyelet to attach a lanyard to keep your G5 safe in your hand.

Care recommendations for EKA® SwedBlade G5 Black

All our knives are crafted from premium Swedish steel and designed to deliver durability and reliability over time. With proper knife care and by regularly maintaining your EKA1882 knife, you ensure it always performs at its best. Our blades are incredibly sharp, so handle them carefully during cleaning. We also recommend oiling the blade regularly for extra protection against corrosion and optimal performance.

• Never use your knife blade as an axe, chisel, punch, pry bar or screwdriver.
• Clean your knife with dish soap after each use and dry it thoroughly. This will help prevent corrosion, even on stainless steel. For hygienic reasons, ensure the blade is completely dry before placing it back in its sheath.
• Oil your knife for extra protection against corrosion. We recommend using natural oils for an environmentally friendly choice.
• Store your knife safely in the sheath when it’s not being used.
• Maintain your EKA® SwedBlade G4 Black by sharpening regularly.
• The kydex sheath can be washed both by hand or in the dishwasher.
